Reviews
“I am a Chef. Jensen Bros. delivers to my employer. I found out that they have a retail location and I love it. Fresh selection are wide ranging and good. Their Scottish Salmon (Wild Caught) is beautiful and tasty. My new favorite seafood spot.” – Michael Williams, April 2018
“Love this little seafood market stop. Free easy parking. Restrooms. Daily fresh seafood as well as frozen staples. Has extras too like keylime pie, fresh lemons, limes, cocktail sauce, etc. We loved their shrimp, mussels, grouper, snapper, mahi, everything we tried. Cool old bar inside, but they are not currently using. Greatly weekly email specials. Supplies the best restaurants in the area too. Working on creating a lunch spot next door. George and his friends are an extra bonus- the local sea birds who hang out here checking out the ware:) Love this place!” -Chelley Rouda, April 2018
“This is our go to place for fresh seafood. Quality and price are great. Staff are always nice. Sign up for weekly emails with sale items and discount code.” – Dean Cochran, January 2018

Great Seafood Since 1984
Jensen Bros. Seafood was founded in 1984 by “Big Al”, my father, and me, John Jensen. We introduced fresh farm-raised North Carolina Rainbow Trout door-to-door to Tampa Bay area restaurants in a 6-speed Mitsubishi pick-up truck with no ac, coolers, and a dog named ‘Champ’. The business started with the fresh trout and became successful. I stayed in Dunedin and my father returned to the North Carolina mountains where he started Maggie’s Galley in Waynesville.

After 25 years of distribution (and people asking if they could buy retail) we stocked the inside with chest freezers full of frozen fish, shrimp, and seafood products and opened the garage doors to the public in June 2009.

Our fish selection is superior and our retail environment unique compared to the usual seafood market. Artwork on display
and for sale adorn the store and its walls. The store is ‘open air’, clean, and has a friendly staff to assist in your buying experience and give helpful hints on seafood. Why not come by and visit with us and see for yourself.
John, his daughter Carly (2017). Carly works at Jensen Brother’s, and is very happy to be helping her dad in making the business prosper. Carly was valedictorian of her 2017 graduating class and is a full-time student at the University of South Florida. Trevor has moved on from playing college baseball at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. He was drafted by the Minnesota Twins organization in June of 2019.
